Hi K Severny
They were just perfect! All the white was cooked and the yellow was hot and runny, just the way I like them. A bit of salt and mmmmmmmm good.

I knew I couldn't be the only one to think this up.
It looks like his have been photographed on a flat black background and from above, which is what gives the floating effect when the photo is then turned upright on the wall (or computer screen).
It's good to be in great company!
Thanks for putting me onto his web page. I enjoyed a tour through his work.

You are not alone in photographing eggs. Here is a link to some shots by Leonard Nimoy. He has an "egg series".

Thanks Fencer,
I struggled with this one so I'm glad you find it successful. I didn't know why I found the image so compelling until way after I had begun trying to pin it down in paint.

Hi lookingforbeauty,

Wow... very nice. So detailed without a sense of fussiness. I like how the lower wall pattern behind is like some other kind of camouflage. And the arm reaching into the frame while the fellow gazes out is great too. A lot of skill on display!

Thank-you for sharing these Kristin. I love it when you share the art places you go and I find this post fascinating. I have not run across Tong's work previously so this view of two of his paintings is priceless. They are so creepy but oh so good. I like how he divides space and how he gets our attention with realistic separate renderings of the players and subject material. I get the same feeling viewing his work that I do when I watch a good mime work and that's saying something.
