Mrs. Stepford and I blather on about art, usually daily, wondering about the vastness of the topic, how undefinable it is and how regretful that we didn’t have a forum for discussion about art when we were in our youth, learning about the basics of form and vision.
In this era where everyone calls themselves an artist, the word loses meaning. Trying to explain to others what kind of work you do is nigh on impossible. In that regard, the Internet has been a blessing, if one can connect to an artists’ web site, since the proverbial “picture is worth a thousand words”. One no longer has to carry a portfolio to show, nor photographs
